Ways To Give
Thank you for considering a gift to support the Campaign. All gifts and pledges to the O’Dowd Center will be matched dollar-for-dollar.
One-Time Gift
A gift of cash can be made by writing a check or using a credit card. You can send a check made payable to Bishop O’Dowd High School and mail to: 9500 Stearns Avenue, Oakland, CA 94605. Please include a note that the gift should be directed to the Cor Unum Campaign. Use the link below for a credit card gift.

Pledge
Your contribution can go even farther if you make a pledge now and spread payment of your gift over a period of time (up to five years). All pledges received by March 31, 2021 will be included in the match.

Stock or Appreciated Securities
Donating stock and mutual funds can be an easy way to give to O’Dowd and can offer a tax advantage. We recommend that you consult with your tax advisor. You can download transfer instructions here »
Donors can use donor-advised fund (DAF) accounts to recommend one-time or recurring grants to qualified charitable organizations such as O’Dowd.
Employer Matching Gifts
Use the searchable database found here, or contact your company’s human resources office, to find out if your company has a matching gift program.
IRA Charitable Distribution
If you are at least 70 1/2 years of age, you can make a tax-free gift of up to $100,000 directly from your individual retirement accounts (IRA) to O’Dowd every year. Donate all or part of your required minimum distribution to avoid taxes.
